    Environmental Studies

    Learn how to live a sustainable and contributive life with our Environmental Studies concentration. You will be able to explore a scientific understanding and make a human connection with the environment.

    Humanities

    Prepare for global citizenship with the Humanities concentration. This lets you explore the breadth of the human search for meaning, value, and creativity.

    International Studies

    Gain a better understanding of global challenges including conflict, injustice, racism, and poverty. This concentration provides you with the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary courses from a faculty trained in anthropology, economics, history, international relations, political science, and sociology.

    Life Sciences

    This rigorous curriculum provides you with a solid foundation in the sciences, including courses that embody the latest emerging discoveries in biology and chemistry, and a student-centered pedagogy that challenges you to apply what you have learned.

    SUA’s concentration in social and behavioral sciences strives to understand human lives, behaviors, and institutions in their social, historical, and cultural environments. SBS embraces an interdisciplinary approach to examining the human condition, incorporating perspectives from anthropology, economics, political science, psychology, and sociology.
