Soka University is a private, 4 year Liberal Arts University located in South Orange County. The Information Technology department is looking for a Helpdesk Technician I to help manage our growing, state of the art helpdesk environment.

The Helpdesk Technician I is responsible for providing software and network support, training and troubleshooting in a networked computer environment including both MAC and Windows platforms. This person acts as the first level contact for desktop users, answering the help desk line and logging service requests.  Responsibilities also include support on a wide range of applications including Microsoft Office products as well as administrative functions for MAC and Windows account as well as MS-Exchange and network printer administration.

The primary role of Helpdesk Technician I will be to assist the IT team with Windows desktop and MAC OS, Email, storage, backups, viruses and hardware issues.  Some training will be available. 

Salary range for this position is $34,000.00 – $37,000.00 based on qualifications and experience. Soka University of America offers a competitive benefits package.
