Job Description: Soka University of America invites application for a one year visiting professor position in Psychology beginning August of 2010. Rank and specialty are open, with the successful candidate willing and able to teach in these subject areas: Introduction to Psychology and Psychological Disorders. In addition, the applicant can expect to teach a couple of interdisciplinary courses. Commitment to teaching and research, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues are essential.

Job Qualifications: Candidates must hold a PhD in psychology and must be versatile enough to teach interdisciplinary courses within the general education curriculum.
Benefits and Salary: Salary is determined based on rank and years of relevant experience. All full-time faculty members are eligible for medical, dental and retirement benefits.
