Men & Women's Swimming Highlights:

The Men's and Women's Swim team is winding down their season looking stronger than ever.  This past weekend at the PCSC Conference Championships in Long Beach,  all the men's relay team qualified for the NAIA Championships.  Congratulations to freshman Sam Sturgeon, Alan Korematsu, Josh Reagan and sophomore Jaya Lovington!  Sturgeon also scored in the top 16 in his individual event, the 200 yd fly along with teammate Reagan in the 200 yd back.

The women's relay consisting of sophomores Michelle Nunn, Yamilla Balderama, juniors Katie Brazer, and Nimsey Garcia put in a strong performance and scored in the top 10.

In addition, sophomore Michelle Nunn not only qualified for NAIA Championships in the 50 yd free but also broke her own school record with a personal best of 25:41!  Nunn also managed to score in the top 24 in 100 yd free - great job!

On March 4, our squads will travel to St. Louis to compete against the top swimmers in the NAIA.  Congratulations for qualifying and good luck to you all!
