Directions
- Go to Oso Parkway exit and turn west (right if you are coming from the north, left if you are coming from the south)
- Oso becomes Pacific Park Drive.
- Travel about five miles on Pacific Park Drive, turn left on Wood Canyon Drive
- After one mile, turn right on University
- Take the southbound 405 to southbound Interstate 5
Go to Oso Parkway exit and turn west (right if you are southbound) - Oso becomes Pacific Park Drive
- Travel about five miles on Pacific Park Drive, turn left on Wood Canyon Drive
- After one mile, turn right on University
- From Interstate 405, take the southbound State Route 73 toll road
- Travel 11.8 miles on the 73 to the Glenwood Exit (right)
- Glenwood Drive changes its name to Pacific Park, stay on it.
- Turn right on Wood Canyon Drive
- After one mile, turn right on University

- From State Route 55, take the southbound 405 to southbound Interstate 5
- Go to Oso Parkway exit and turn west (right if you are heading south, left if you are coming north)
- Oso becomes Pacific Park Drive

- After one mile, turn right on University
- From State Route 55, take the southbound State Route 73 toll road
- Travel 11.8 miles on the 73 to the Glenwood Exit (right)

- After one mile, turn right on University

- From Pacific Coast Highway, take Laguna Canyon Rd. (SR133) north
- Travel 3.2 miles on Laguna Canyon Rd. to El Toro Rd.
- Turn right on El Toro Rd.
- Travel 1.3 miles on El Toro Rd. to Aliso Creek Rd.
- Turn right on Aliso Creek Rd.
- Travel 2.6 miles on Aliso Creek Rd. to Glenwood
- Turn right on Glenwood.
- Glenwood Drive changes its name to Pacific Park, stay on it
- Travel to Wood Canyon Drive
- Turn right on Wood Canyon Drive
- After one mile, turn right on University
The Toll Roads Rates and Payment
Cash is not accepted on The Toll Roads. Drivers can pay tolls with FasTrak®, an ExpressAccount™, or use One-Time-Toll™. One-Time-Toll is a good choice for out-of-town visitors and infrequent users of The Toll Roads. No account is necessary—users drive the 73, 133, 241 or 261 Toll Roads anytime, day or night, then pay within 5 days after driving on The Toll Roads. Public Transportation to Soka University
The nearest bus stop to Soka University is 1 1/2 miles from campus at Aliso Viejo Town Center. See the Orange County Transportation Authority for bus schedules and stops. OCTA’s OC Flex shuttle service is available from the Town Center to campus between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. The Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Train Station is 5 miles from campus. You may arrange for taxi or care sharing service from there. See Metrolink for train schedules. OCTA’s OC Flex shuttle service is available from the train station to campus between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. A Shuttle Bus from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to SUA costs about $50 per person one way and will bring you directly to campus. You don’t need reservations. Just walk to the shuttle bus stop in front of the terminal and sign up there. Be sure to get a quote first (there are several different services and prices may vary with gas price changes.) Ask for a discount if several people are going to the same destination. Distance is about 50 miles. Expect it to take about one hour depending upon traffic. Shuttle Wizard offers a $4 discount for students with the code SOKASTU. Shuttlefare.com offers additional options.
Orange County Transportation Authority’s OC Flex shuttle service is available for rides to campus from much of Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, and Mission Viejo between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. OC Flex can connect you from the Mission Viejo/Laguna Niguel Train Station to SUA. Schedule pick up via cell phone app or call 877-628-FLEX (3539).

John Wayne Airport Orange County (SNA) is located 12 miles from campus and shuttle buses, taxis, and ride sharing services are available.
Parking at Soka
For Founders Gallery, events in Founders Hall, and Soka Performing Arts Center, park in Parking Lot A.
For Ikeda Library, park in Parking Lot C.
For Pauling Hall, park in Parking Lot C, take the stairs or elevator up to the campus green. Pauling Hall is directly to the left of the Student Center and Soka Bistro dining hall (where tables and chairs are out front).
For Athletics, upon arrival at Soka University, the Athletics Complex is to your immediate right. Parking is to the immediate left in Lot A for spectators, to the immediate right in Lot B for teams and officials, and just past the Gym in Lot C for the Pool. Parking passes are required, and are available at the entrance gate.
Other events: Ask at the gate as you come in for a map and directions to find the best parking for the event you are attending. Parking is free for most events.
