Roger CherryRhetorical theory can usefully inform composition pedagogy at all levels, from individual writing assignments, to course design and implementation, to writing program administration.  Dr. Cherry will explore various ways in which rhetoric can enrich and support writing instruction for students, instructors, and administrators.

Roger Cherry, PhD, is Associate Professor of English at Ohio State University, where he teaches courses in the history of rhetoric, rhetorical theory, composition pedagogy, and writing assessment.  His publications include: A Brief Guide to Basic Writing and Assessing Writers' Knowledge and Processes of Composing.
