Soka University Ranked High for Best Value, Diversity and Happy Freshmen

Aliso Viejo, CA -- Soka University (SUA), a private, four-year liberal arts college and graduate school located in Aliso Viejo, CA, has been consistently appearing in the top national rankings for Best Value Colleges and Most Diverse Colleges.  US News & World Report’s “Best Colleges 2017” ranked SUA in the Top 50 among National Liberal Arts Colleges, Top Ten in Best Value, #3 in Ethnic Diversity, #1 in Foreign Student Factor (highest percentage of International Students,) #1 in Most Students Studying Abroad and #1 in Faculty Resources.  New this year was the ranking #18 - “Least Debt” (Student Debt Load) among National Liberal Arts Colleges. 

USA Today and Collegefactual.com rank Soka University in the "Top 10 Colleges in California," and MSN Money lists Soka University as one of a few top private colleges that offer full tuition scholarships to admitted students whose families make $60,000 or less annually. Collegechoice.net ranks SUA as #3 for Happiest Freshmen nationally (after Yale and the University of Chicago.)

Soka offers an 8:1 student/faculty ratio and study abroad for every undergraduate student.  About 60% of Soka University's students come from the US and 40% have come from more than 40 other countries.  Admitted students whose annual family income is $60,000 or less may be eligible for Soka Opportunity Scholarships which cover full tuition.  Additional scholarship opportunities are available for higher income levels.  www.soka.edu
