TERESA JAMES & THE RHYTHM TRAMPS
Friday, November 1, 2019
8PM | TheClub@Soka
“She is one of the most honest, gutsy, incredible singers you'll find.” Pasadena Weekly

Teresa James sitting at a piano

Grammy Award-nominated Teresa James & the Rhythm Tramps - are a group of stellar musicians with the Southern Americana feel-good soulful style of Texas blues. James’ voice — which has drawn praise from Bonnie Raitt and the late Levon Helm — is the centerpiece, but Terry Wilson (bass) anchors the Rhythm Tramps with Billy Watts on guitar and Jay Bellarose on drums. As one critic said, “there are no clichés in this band.” They move easily through Texas style grease and blues into Memphis soul or New Orleans flavored grooves and all points in between with fun and abandonment.
