Before coming to Soka, I was surrounded by people who think and act just like me. Soka allows me to be immersed in different cultures from all corners of the world and Soka Education provides me with a safe space to have dialogue with those individuals to understand their world just a little bit more.

Soka Education taught me to find and create value in my everyday encounters, and for that, I am thankful. Because of Soka Education, I have met and had dialogues with the wisest, kindest, and most brilliant individuals who have been through the toughest times. I have learned to apply the three attributes of global citizenship: wisdom, courage, and compassion to make the most out of every situation. These invaluable lessons that I have received during my time at Soka will forever be treasures of my life.
