International Transcripts Can Be Sent Directly to Soka University of America
Applying for a college education can be difficult, with many prospective students needing help to find financial resources. As a global-minded institution and with 50% of our campus community identifying as international students, Soka University of America is excited to announce that prospective students with coursework outside the United States may now have their academic transcripts/credentials sent directly to the Office of Admission without the need to provide a credential evaluation when applying. For students with coursework outside of the United States, this change will reduce the overall cost of applying to Soka University of America and allow our application process to become more accessible to many regions throughout the globe.
When applying, sending your official academic transcripts directly to the Office of Admission as soon as possible is essential to ensure we receive them by our application deadlines. Before sending your transcripts, you should visit our Transcript Requirement Webpage, as it is a great resource that provides details on transcript requirements and delivery of your transcripts. You may also contact us at evaluations@soka.edu for questions and assistance. After we receive your transcripts, we will evaluate them and determine if they fulfill your transcript checklist item.
We understand that students may already have a credential evaluation completed or desire to have one done. Our office will continue to accept credential evaluations for those who wish to provide them, and they meet the conditions listed on our Transcript Requirement Webpage.
