Call for Sohokai Class Representatives
2024 Sohokai Class Representative Election
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the two Class Representatives for the Classes of 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024. The election process will take place over the next month, and we encourage you to run or vote for someone who you believe would be a strong advocate for your class.
As Class Representatives, you will have the opportunity over the next three (3) years to:
- Connect with classmates and strengthen your class network
- Be the voice of your class in the Sohokai Alumni Association
- Work with the Board of Representatives and other Leaders to enact the association’s mission
- Share with and learn from other Class Representatives, various ways to generate engagement
It is a truly rewarding experience and you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of your classmates and to help shape the future of the Sohokai Alumni Association.

July 2: Call for Candidacy
Check out the website for the candidacy application, candidate qualifications, and voter eligibility and click the button above for the Declaration of Candidacy Application.
July 28: Candidacy Deadline
All interested candidates must submit an application and photo via email by 5:00pm PT. Please submit to sohokai@soka.edu.
August 1: Candidates Announced and Elections Begin
Read up on the candidates and cast your vote online for your class representatives
August 7 - 5pm PST: Elections Conclude
Voting ends on Wednesday August 7th at 5pm PST.
August 8: Results Announced
