Diversity and Inclusion
We understand and value the importance of diversity and inclusion both on and off campus. We aim to provide students with a wide variety of opportunities to explore and embrace differences both within their own culture and cultures with which they may not be familiar.
Heritage Celebrations
We have hosted a number of heritage celebrations including events for Holi and Diwali, candlelight vigils, and the California Native Harvest Gathering where indigenous people of the area showcased traditional aspects of their cultures such as dance, weaving, and cuisine.
Christelle Inema
[Angela] Davis urged her audience to ‘imagine a different world,’ a world where everyone would be equal. She said ‘if change doesn’t happen, there is no future for this planet.’
