Pearce’s studies of natural phenomena remind us that life finds a way despite the perceived limitation that death presents. Death is not the end as life courses forward in the universe’s continuous cycle.

I believe that freedom of speech – the right of individuals to express their individual viewpoints no matter how unpopular — is necessary for constructive dialogue and constructive dialogue is in turn necessary for the peaceful resolution of the conflicts we face.

I believe that [INTS] has greatly prepared me to cultivate a perspective that made me aware of cultural differences, and political and social inequities.

The perspectives I gained in my INTS classes helped me be a better traveler and global citizen.

By learning to think comprehensively as well as gaining knowledge-based facts of international affairs, I changed my perception of the world.

I also participated in various programs on international politics and history outside the US utilizing grants programs offered at SUA.

I’ve been working for a social purpose consultancy that brings me into contact with senior policy makers and political figures on a regular basis.

Because of the experience that I gained as an [INTS] student, I became interested in joining Peace Corps [which] led me to work for a government agency.

The INTS classes I took while at SUA gave me the necessary background … to further my research into the efficiency of UN peacekeeping operations.
