Ikeda College – Undergraduate Studies
SUA offers a study abroad program through CET at Osaka Gakuin University. This program is best suited for students looking to engage with their community.

Location
Osaka is a large port city on the island of Honshu. The city of Osaka has more than 2 million residents, while the whole metropolitan area has more than 12 million.

Architecture
Osaka is known for its architecture such as the Osaka Castle and other traditional Japanese buildings.

Food
Osaka is world-renowned for its incredible food, from udon to takoyaki (octopus). Osaka is also known for its fine sake.
CET Osaka is without a doubt the best program out of all of the Japanese study abroad programs SUA has to offer.
Program Characteristics
The fall semester begins in August and ends in December. The spring semester begins in January and ends in May.
3.0 GPA
You will take an intensive language and culture studies track which encourages a high degree of integration with the local community. Each student completes a field placement assignment with a Japanese social organization.
You will have the unique opportunity to stay in a furnished apartment with a Japanese roommate.
